  7. Learning About Countries, Water...

Students in Mrs. Guyer’s third grade class at West Sand Lake worked on a fun activity in cooperative groups this week.

Each student in the group was responsible for a job and those jobs, together, helped them create physical features they have been learning about in class to go along with the study of countries, the water cycle and land.

Students have learned about hills, plateaus, mountains, valleys, canyons, plateaus, islands, peninsulas, rivers and lakes. Each item pictured represented one of those physical features on the land. The items are labeled so that it is clear what the physical features are. The kids had a blast and the end result is pretty cool, too!
