Algonquin Middle School’s Chase Rose and 11 other players on the Albany Capitals Youth Peewee Hockey Team have been selected to represent the United States of America and compete in the 2019 Eurochem Cup in Tula, Russia next week.
The tournament runs from May 25-30.
Many of the players on the US team are from the Capital District and play their regular season in Clifton Park Youth Hockey on the Clifton Park Dynamo Team.
Chase and his teammates will be competing against squads from all over the world. The US team is coached by Brad Chartrand, a former NHL player.
Chase’s passion for the game and his leadership on the ice will be a true representation of what it means to be a Warrior. We are very proud of him and know that he will make our community proud, as well.
