Through a 5K run, bake sales and donations, Kelsey’s Promise Club raised $8,629.63 to go to The Melodies Center in remembrance of Kelsey Kittleson – a student who passed away in 2017 after a battle with brain cancer.
Economics teacher Mr. Blais bet the Club that if they raised more than $5,000, he would shave his beard. On June 3, Mr. Blais made good on that promise and shaved his beard on stage in the auditorium. Then he shaved his head.
