QUALIFICATIONS: • NYS certification School Counselor, School Social Worker or School Psychologist required
• Mental health counseling experience preferred
• Experience working with students with cognitive, academic and social and emotional disabilities
• Ability to build rapport with students and staff
• Strong communicator with home-school partner
• Strong knowledge of behavior management strategies and effective mental health counseling methods and strategies
• Ability to connect students and families to community resources
SALARY: As per APTA Agreement
