POSITION AVAILABLE: 1.0 FTE Special Education Teacher
To begin December 1, 2019
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must be NYS certified in Special Education, Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) preferred.
• Experience working with students with significant social, emotional and behavioral needs.
• Experience with FBA, Behavior Plans, BIPS and progress monitoring.
• Ability to facilitate a team approach and problem solving.
• Ability to provide guidance to teacher aides to best support student needs.
• Must possess good communication skills and work well with families, service providers and supports.
• Must be self-motivated, organized and have an exceptional work ethic.
SALARY: As per APTA Agreement
