Delaney Munyan and Ciera Sherman have started the ADL’s Civil Rights Journey in Georgia and Alabama!
The two Averill Park High School students arrived on Sunday, Nov. 17, and on Monday, Nov. 18 they headed to the Rosa Park Museum, Equal Justice Initiative’s Legacy Museum and Lynching Memorial, as well as the Freedom Riders Exhibit. The Journey is a four-day event covering the two states.
Other stops include the Birmingham Civil Rights Institute, Dr. King’s Tomb and the National Human and Civil Rights Museum.
