APHS students are learning the importance of seed saving, they are separating seeds from the plants and storing them until the spring, so they can plant them.
Horticulture students also planted lettuce and have been taking care of it through the fall. A long-term project in the class is to learn strategies in marketing the products grown. Students will run a greens business through the year until June, as well as donate greens to the cafeterias throughout the district.
