Poestenkill Elementary is piloting a “Try It Tuesday” program to gather feedback on potential new menu items!
In January, students sampled and voted on Pulled Pork Sliders and Teriyaki Chicken. Both were winners and will be featured on February’s lunch menu! The Pulled Pork Sliders will be served with Sweet Potato Fries and Homemade Coleslaw. The Teriyaki Chicken will be served with Brown Rice and Steamed Broccoli.
In February, students will be sampling and voting on Homemade Macaroni & Cheese and Homemade Sloppy Joes on a Whole Wheat Roll.
