Mrs. Chenette’s 1st grade class created Valentine cards and messages for Retired Major Bill White. Mrs. Chenette learned about the endeavor awhile ago and the WSL K-Kids were interested in joining in this act of kindness for this amazing 104-year-old military veteran.
As often happens at WSL, when an act of kindness begins, everyone in the building loves to help out and get involved. WSL grades K-5 came together and sent almost 300 cards to Major Bill White and, to date, he has received more than 300,000!
We are proud to be a part of such a wonderful act of kindness.
