Third grade students at MHSL have been studying the customs and traditions of Japan. We were very fortunate to have a parent of one of our students come in to do a presentation about Japan!
Mr. Michael McAlonie visited Japan recently in a quest for information about a WWII MIA pilot that had served with his father, Howard McAlonie. Michael shared his fascinating story with the students.
He also shared information about Japanese culture by showing clothing, foods, photographs and other momentos.
