We would like to remind everyone that our district buildings and facilities are closed to the public during the cancellation of classes.
The Averill Park Central School District considers playgrounds located on our campuses to be closed as well. We will not be disinfecting or cleaning them as our focus is currently on the inside of our buildings. We realize that we will not be able to strictly enforce the closure of these playgrounds, but we strongly discourage the use of them as the COVID-19 virus can live on metal and plastic for an extended period of time.
