  7. School Budget Vote Information

The school budget vote and Board of Education election, which was originally scheduled to take place on May 19, has been rescheduled for Tuesday, June 9.

Per an executive order from Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, there will be no in-person voting on June 9 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Instead, all voting will be done exclusively by absentee ballot.

Absentee ballots with prepaid return envelopes will be sent to all qualified voters. Qualified voters are U.S. citizens who are 18 years or older and have lived within the District boundaries for at least 30 days prior to June 9.

Absentee ballots need to be received by June 9 at 5:00 p.m.

APCSD will hold a budget hearing remotely via Zoom on June 1. Community members should expect to receive a newsletter in the mail detailing this year’s budget after the hearing.
