POSITIONS AVAILABLE: Three (3) Teaching Assistants
Extended School Year (ESY) Summer Program
8:00 am – 2:00 pm daily
To begin July 6, 2020 through August 14, 2020
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have valid NYS Teaching Assistant certificate or teaching certificate
• Experience working with disabled students with cognitive and behavioral challenges
• Able to take initiative
• Demonstrated ability to lead small group and individual instruction under the guidance of a certified teacher
• Flexible team player with excellent communication skills
• Must be able to lift and assist with activities of daily living
• Preference may be given to individuals who can best provide continuity of program based on current program or in the upcoming school year.
• Available and able to commit to the entire summer program
SALARY: $30.00 per hour as per APTA Agreement
