The Averill Park Central School District will be open tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 9. We understand that many homes in our district may still be without power at this time, which will affect students’ ability to participate in virtual learning. If you cannot attend virtual classes due to internet issues, absences and cases of tardiness will be marked as excused.
Our buildings always serve as warm, safe places for our students who find themselves without power in their homes. If any virtual or hybrid at-home student needs to charge a device or is in need of a warm meal, they should reach out to their building principal or counselor.
