The December 8, 2020 Capital Project vote is an in person vote, as was the recent National Election.

However, Absentee Ballots can be obtained by residents who will be out of town or are unable to vote in person due to medical conditions or other reasons. You must complete an application to receive an absentee ballot.

COVID-19 related quarantine, illness, or your concern about in-person voting due to COVID-19 will be considered an acceptable medical condition for residents to request an absentee ballot.

The Absentee Ballot Application can be obtained via the link below, on the District’s website under the Capital Project section, by calling 518-674-7085 or by pick-up at the District Office, located in the Averill Park High School at 146 Gettle Road. Please call ahead to 518-674-7085 to schedule a pick-up appointment.

Please print, complete and return the application to Averill Park CSD, attention Yvonne Phillips.

Completed applications for absentee ballots must be received by the District Clerk at least seven (7) days prior to the vote if the absentee ballot is to be mailed by the voter, or the day before the election, if the ballot is to be delivered personally by the voter.

All ballots must be received by the District Clerk no later than 5 p.m. on December 8, 2020.
