As you are aware from the school district’s communication, Algonquin Middle School will be moving to Remote Learning beginning tomorrow, Tuesday, December 15, and will continue in that format through the end of the day on Wednesday, December 23rd.
The middle school will operate in our Remote Program Schedule.
Students will begin their day in Morning Meeting via Google Meet at 9am.
Tomorrow we will use our Morning Meeting time to hold a brief re-orientation to Remote Learning in our morning announcements. We will also carefully review the schedule for the day.

ABOUT AMS REMOTE LEARNING:
Remote learning is structured with scheduled class sessions by period.
Students will be expected to participate in learning daily from 9am until 2:30pm, beginning in Morning Meeting with Google Meet each day.
Each morning students will receive an email with an outline of the day’s schedule and important reminders.
Attendance will be taken and grading will follow our traditional numeric grading process.
The school will follow-up with families of students who are not attending scheduled class sessions.
