Please be aware that you may notice positive cases of COVID-19 being reported on official social media accounts and online dashboards that do not match up with what we have reported today.
There is no need for concern as this is retroactive reporting on the part of those outlets. The District was made aware of these cases, submitted them to the state reporting dashboards, and notified our school community. Contact tracing and quarantining have already taken place.
From time to time, you may notice discrepancies between the state and county reporting of positive tests, with their reporting date not matching up with the District communications. There are multiple means of messaging used for reporting positive cases and many of these reports come out at staggered times.
We strive to be as transparent as possible with our community at all times and will continue to inform you when we are notified of a positive case of COVID-19 in our schools.
