Elizabeth Malone joins the Averill Park Central School District as the CSE Chairperson for Grades 6-12.
“My family has a long line of educators,” she said. “I grew up listening to the love they had for the profession and knew early on that I wanted to do the same.”
Miss Malone completed her Bachelor’s Degree at St. John Fisher College, her Masters in Literacy at Sage College, and her School Building Leader/School District Leader certificate at SUNY Plattsburgh.
Miss Malone began her career at the Ark Community Charter School before spending time in the Troy City School District. Most recently, she worked at Fonda-Fultonville CSD.
“My favorite thing about working in schools is working with students and their families,” she said. “I have spent many years as a special educator and truly believe in working as a team with each student and their family. Creating those relationships and watching students grow and succeed over the years is truly the best.”
