Nicole Longendyke joins the Science department at Algonquin Middle School this year.
“I started substituting in an elementary school while earning my Bachelor’s degree, and I loved every second of teaching,” she said. “At that moment, I knew what my plan of study would be for grad school – education!”
Miss Longendyke attended SUNY New Paltz for both her undergraduate and graduate programs. She previously taught high school biology at Kingston High School before joining the Averill Park Central School District.
“Everyone has been so welcoming at Averill Park. I am excited for an awesome school year,” she said.
