Hinman Instruction is offering our 4-week SAT preparation course as a synchronous online learning opportunity for Averill Park High School students for the November 6 SAT.
The course covers content for all four required sections of the exam (Reading; Writing & Language; Math – no calculator; Math – calculator), as well as SAT-specific strategies and general test-taking strategies. Students will become familiar with the format of the exam; what the test-makers are looking for; traps to avoid; and effective, efficient ways to dominate the SAT.
Students will receive 24 hours of in-class live online instruction, as well as guidance and resources for practicing at home. The course tends to fill quickly; seats are limited so that proper attention can be given to each student.
