On Thursday, September 30, the Averill Park Central School District was notified that a staff member at Averill Park High School, a student at Algonquin Middle School and two students at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
