The Averill Park Central School District has been notified that, since Nov. 23, two staff members in the Transportation Department, two staff members and two students at Algonquin Middle School, one staff member and one student at Averill Park High School, two students at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School, two students at Poestenkill Elementary School, and one student at West Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
