On Thursday, December 23, the Averill Park Central School District was notified that four students at Poestenkill Elementary School, three students and one staff member at Averill Park High School, and one student at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
