As you may have heard, the CDC changed its quarantine guidelines on December 26. The latest guidance reduces the recommended days of quarantine to five (5) days.
As of now, the New York State Department of Health has only adopted this reduction for essential workers. As a result, the reduced number does not apply to students or APCSD staff. The quarantine period currently remains at 10 days.
If there are any relevant changes, the District will communicate them as soon as possible.
