On Friday, January 14, the Averill Park Central School District was notified that one student at Averill Park High School, four students and one staff member at Algonquin Middle School, six students at Poestenkill Elementary School, and one student at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
