On Wednesday, January 19, the Averill Park Central School District was notified that two students at Averill Park High School, three students at Algonquin Middle School, two students at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School, one student at Poestenkill Elementary School, and one student at West Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. School-based contact tracing has been completed and all those affected have been notified.
