The Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary Student Council members are promoting a community Blood Drive at the West Sand Lake Fire Department on March 12 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.!
We have created posters, decorated signs, collected Thank You Cards from our homerooms, and continue to learn about the value of each donation. At the March 3rd meeting, a guest speaker (and AP Graduate from Miller Hill-Sand Lake) Sarah Garzione spoke about her volunteering experiences and the importance of blood donations.
We would like to thank the West Sand Lake Fire Department for their continued support with hosting blood drives, the MHSL Faculty for volunteering for this event, and special guest speaker Sarah Garzione.
