The safety of students and staff remains a top priority at the Averill Park Central School District.
During the pandemic, the District opened up its campus to provide the community with outdoor spaces to use for physical activity. In an effort to make our campuses as safe as possible, the District must revert back to being a closed campus during the school day.
Effective on the first day of school, Tuesday, September 6, community members will no longer be able to walk the track, use the tennis courts / other playing surfaces, use playgrounds, etc. during the school day or while athletic practices are being conducted outside.
