Congratulations to Lisa Olsen for being named the Averill Park Central School District Employee of the Month for September 2022!
Mrs. Olsen transitioned from being the District’s COVID coordinator last year to the Front Desk Typist at the High School this year.
“Lisa accepted a crucial, hard-to-fill position in the District last year and did it with a smile. She is always willing to help out wherever there is a need and we are very happy to have her be a part of the Averill Park family,” Superintendent Dr. James Franchini said.
In addition to her COVID duties last year, Mrs. Olsen provided support to nurses, filled in as a Teacher Aide and Food Service Helper, assisted the High School with awards in June, worked as a summer messenger, provided clerical support for Kindergarten screening, and much more. She is always willing to help with a calm demeanor and a smile.
