Averill Park CSD SADD students participated in the “Escape the Vape” event held at the SHAC Community Center recently. The event centered around health risks related to vaping.
Two presentations were given on the dangers of vaping, with one coming from the Student Assistance Program (Alyssa Evans and Kim Favro) and the other from the Rensselaer County Health Department.
Information was presented at tables from Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the NOpiates Committee, Sky High Adventure Community Center, Averill Park SADD, and East Greenbush SADD.
Among the 40 people in attendance, AP SADD students included Caoimhghin Williams, Gianna Zatorsky, Ruby Mainville-Geerholt and Nick Williams.
