Today (Tuesday, November 22) Averill Park High School is shutting down its water system and will use bottled water for the day as a precaution due to low chlorine levels.
The water system is tested daily. Please note that yesterday’s results were in the normal range for chlorine. Today, the system was tested twice with the first test coming back low for chlorine and the second test coming back as not measurable.
All water fountains have been shut down at this time and will reopen as soon as testing levels have returned to normal. At this time, we believe the water system will be functional as of Monday, November 28.
