On Friday. December 2, former Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School and Averill Park CSD graduate Dr. Paul McKee presented to MHSL Grade 5 students on rocketry and the US space program.
Dr. McKee recently completed his doctorate program at RPI and will begin working for NASA in January in Houston, Texas. He presented on the history and future of space exploration and finished the presentation with a rocket launch outside.
We are grateful to Dr. McKee for his ‘return to his roots’ and sharing his knowledge and expertise with our students, and are very proud of all he has accomplished!
