Holocaust survivor Marion Blumenthal Lazan shared her incredible story with students at Averill Park High School and Algonquin Middle School this morning, streaming into classrooms and the auditorium!
During World War II, Mrs. Lazan was trapped in Nazi Germany and spent six years of her childhood in refugee, transit, and prison camps. Her story is one of horrors and hardships, but also of courage and hope. Questions were submitted by high school and middle school students, and a group of students at APHS relayed them to Mrs. Lazan.
Mrs. Lazan is the author of the book “Four Perfect Pebbles: A Holocaust Story” which can be purchased on Amazon, as well as other book retailers.
