SPRING MIDDLE SCHOOL ATHLETES PRESENTATION

On Tuesday, April 4, all middle school student athletes (modified and JV) will participate in a presentation by Mr. Messia, Mr. Bubniak (our athletic director), our spring coaches and APHS student athlete leaders at 2:40pm in the AMS Auditorium.  After the presentation students will head to their practices.  A sports shuttle bus will take students practicing at the high school after the presentation.

This interactive presentation will highlight the importance of scholarship, leadership on and off the field, sportsmanship and expectations for procedures for the sports season.  Students will be asked to take notes during the session and provide them to their coaches.  Students will also be asked to commit to being upstanders in our school community, signing our AMS Upstander Pledge which will be on display in the main hallway throughout the season.  Thank you for your support of middle school athletics.

FROM THE LIBRARY

CHROMEBOOK REMINDER:  Please help your child be ready for school by reminding them to charge their Chromebook each night and to be sure to pack it in their backpack for the next school day.  If the battery life falls below 20%, the laptop can go into a deep sleep and die.  It then has to be sent to our Technology Department to be revived. If students are charging their Chromebooks every day, this should ensure that their school day and learning is not interrupted.
