AMS ATHLETES ARE UPSTANDERS

On Tuesday, all fall modified athletes attended an assembly with Mr. Messia and Mr. Bubniak, our athletic director. The assembly focused on responsibilities of athletes on and off the field, being an upstander and representing our teams well through our words and actions. As part of the assembly students completed Upstander Pledge Cards that will be posted soon in the AMS Main Foyer.

PRINCIPAL’S COMMUNITY CIRCLES

Next week, Mr. Messia and Dr. Rhode will begin a series of community circles with our Grade 6 morning meeting students. During these circle discussions we work to get to know our newest students to the building and have discussions about respect, effort and responsibility at the middle school level. We look forward to these discussion circles and hope that our sixth graders enjoy them, grow from them and learn a bit about us, too.
