Over the last two months, Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School’s 4th and 5th graders participated in a Student Council Election process. We are very proud of all of our 38 candidates for their speeches and willingness to represent their homerooms in our council. The Student Council election was held on November 7, where two representatives were chosen from each 4th and 5th grade homeroom.
On Nov. 16, the Student Council held its first meeting with newly elected members and advisors Ms. Kalage and Mrs. Russell. Everyone is very excited to spend the year making a difference at Miller Hill-Sand Lake as they work with Mr. Sibson, the PTA, and the K-5 School Community.
