  7. Youth Mental Health Advisory...

Young New Yorkers can make their voices heard in the Governor’s newly established Youth Mental Health Advisory Board. Applications are now open to middle and high school students. The application form is available here.

This youth advisory board will play a crucial role in providing relevant advice for policymakers, the Office of Mental Health, and the Office of Addiction Services and Support. Mental health policies and programs will affect students across the state, so it’s essential that youth-informed insights are listened to in the process.

This is a great opportunity for Averill Park middle school and high school students to participate in government advocacy.
