Tomorrow (Weds, Oct. 21) starts Spirit Week at APHS!
There is also a class competition food drive collection. Boxes are located just inside the front entrance near the main office of the high school. Donations will help support the local community through the help of Kiwanis! Our goal is to collect until Oct. 30.
Students, staff, and community members wishing to donate are welcome and are encouraged to participate in a contact-less food drop off from 11 am – 1 pm both Saturday and Sunday this weekend. Just pull up in front of the high school main entrance and volunteers will come and pick up items you wish to donate.
Last year Kiwanis put together 97 Thanksgiving baskets, which included 197 students from Averill Park CSD! This year they anticipate the need to be higher and, without Summer Fest as a fundraiser, the school and our students want to help.
