  7. APHS Information Regarding Remote...

Good afternoon APHS Students and Parents/Guardians,

As you know, the HS program will continue in a 100% remote modality through December 23rd.
We will continue to follow the AA/BB rotation.
Monday will be an B-Day, for Cohort 1.

Effective Monday, as before, we will follow the remote daily bell schedule, as follows: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1hXP8tihE3BCb89tBxyHNUTPJ7NVE-PP62LFVVDRjTI0/edit?usp=sharing

As a refresher, here is a link to our HS video, reviewing how our 100% remote model works.

Breakfast and lunch will be available for all remote Averill Park Central School District students, December 14-18. Meals are available for delivery or pick up at the Averill Park High School. For those choosing delivery, meals will be delivered each day. To sign up for meals, please complete this form by Monday, December 14 at 8 a.m. Breakfast and lunch will be included in each delivery/pick up. If you have any questions, please contact Colleen Wise, Food Service Director, at wisec@apcsd.org or 518-674-7004.

Please note; during this period of remote learning our students in CTE, QUESTAR and New Visions Programs WILL continue to attend these programs in-person. Regular transportation will be provided. If you are a student who needs to stay at the high school during the portion of the day when you are not at one of these programs (because you do not have your own mid-day transportation home), we will be providing an in-person supported study hall at the high school, and will also provide breakfast and lunch to these. For more information on this, watch the Questar III CTE & New Visions slideshow for students and families. If you still have questions, please contact Assistant Principal, Mrs. Mein, at meinc@apcsd.org.

Our Offices will be fully open and our staff will remain available during normal operating hours. If you have any questions, please contact the HS Office at 674-7002.

Enjoy the weekend, stay healthy, and be Warrior Strong!
