Last night the District was notified that a student at West Sand Lake Elementary School tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. The individual has not been in our buildings since December 8. The District has worked with the Rensselaer County Department of Health to identify and notify all close contacts.
While we understand that you might like additional details, due to privacy laws we cannot release any identifiable information about the individuals or affected students.
