Today (Wednesday, Dec. 23) the District was notified that a staff member at Algonquin Middle School and a student at West Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. This is in addition to the positive case we communicated earlier today. Neither case requires school-based contact tracing due to the last time that each individual was in their respective building.
While we understand that you might like additional details, due to privacy laws we cannot release any identifiable information about the individuals or affected students.
