Today (Saturday, Jan. 2) the District was notified that a high school student and a staff member at Algonquin Middle School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. These cases do not require school-based contact tracing due to the last time that the individuals were in their respective buildings.
While we understand that you might like additional details, due to privacy laws we cannot release any identifiable information about the individuals or affected students.
As always, the health and safety of students and staff is the District’s top priority and we appreciate your cooperation and diligence during this time.
