Today (Thursday, Jan. 7) the District was notified that two students at Algonquin Middle School, two students at the High School, a student at West Sand Lake Elementary School, and two staff members in the Transportation Department have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. These cases do not require school-based contact tracing due to the last time that the individuals were on campus.
While we understand that you might like additional details, due to privacy laws we cannot release any identifiable information about the individuals or affected students.
