Last week, both in-person and virtual students from across the district in 4th and 5th grade were treated to a virtual visit from the Story Pirates, thanks to a generous Averill Park Education Foundation grant!
Last year’s 4th graders wrote stories and submitted them to the Story Pirates. Three of those stories were selected to be performed live during the show.
Congratulations to this year’s winners: Mario Morelli from WSLE, Wolfgang Fridmann from PES, and Elizabeth With from MHSL.
Mario’s story was turned into a YouTube video and he was fantastic in his post-show interview!
