Late last night (Thursday, March 25) the District was notified that a fully remote student at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School and a fully remote student at Algonquin Middle School have tested positive for the COVID-19 virus. Since both students are fully remote, there is no need for school-based contact tracing. Today (Friday, March 26) the District was notified that a student at Poestenkill Elementary School and a fully remote student at West Sand Lake Elementary School have tested positive. We have been in contact with the Rensselaer County Department of Health and have completed contact tracing.
