The Third Grade Brownie Troop #1727 could not meet in person for the annual MLK Day of Service at Miller Hill-Sand Lake Elementary School this year, so they came up with a variety of ways to spread kindness to their community. Students from all three elementary schools participated.
They made goodie bags and cards for teachers, care packages for health care professionals, friendship bracelets for classmates, dog toys for a local shelter, purchased new coloring books to donate, comforted a neighbor, and put together healthy food packages for the AP backpack program.
We are so proud of and thankful for this Brownie troop of amazing young leaders!
