Grade 8 student, Jasmine Scribner, recently completed a service project for AMS towards a Girl Scouts’ Silver Award. Jasmine identified a need in the community, in this case the desire of some middle school students to be able to warm their food during lunches in a microwave.
Jasmine raised funds for this project and worked with the Student Council to help purchase microwaves for students to use in the cafeteria next year! Thank you Jasmine for helping your community and thinking about ways to make AMS a better place for our students!
