Even though the school year is coming to a close, free meals will still be available to children and teens who are in need throughout Rensselaer County this summer.
Starting in July there will be five meal sites located in and around the Averill Park Central School District, which are sponsored by the Rensselaer County Department for Youth.
Each of these sites will have free meals available for anyone 18 years old or under on a first-come, first-served basis. Meals will be served to go and are only available during the designated times. All times and dates are subject to change. Please call 2-1-1 for updated sites serving meals in your area.
