The District was notified this morning that the State Education Department (SED) will provide COVID-19 guidance regarding the 2021-22 school year in the absence of guidance from the Governor’s Office and the State Department of Health. School districts throughout New York State will need to abide by the protocols set forth in this guidance. The memo can be viewed here.
Due to this breaking news, the District has decided to cancel its community forum set for Wednesday, August 11.
SED did not provide a date for the release of its document, though it is expected to come soon. Once the District has time to review the guidance, we will communicate details with our school community.
