Late yesterday afternoon, the New York State Education Department released COVID-19 guidance related to the 2021-22 school year. View the guidance here.
District administrators plan to spend the upcoming week updating the 2020-21 reopening plan based on the new guidance. Once the document has been updated, the District will inform employees and community members of the draft plan via virtual forums, which are tentatively scheduled for August 24 and 25, respectively.
In addition, the Board of Education Meeting scheduled for August 23 has been postponed and rescheduled for August 30. The finalized plan will be presented to the Board of Education during its next meeting on August 30.
